Trust & safety
Last updated 25 June 2026
Trust is the heart of legaljobs.bd. Legal hiring runs on reputation, and we built the platform to protect it. Here is how we keep things safe — and how you can help.
We never charge you to apply
A real employer will never ask you to pay a fee to apply, “reserve” a role, or process your application. If a post or message asks for money, it is a red flag — do not pay, and report it.
Verification
Seekers and employers can submit evidence to earn a verified badge. We review identity, Bar enrolment, and organisation documents manually. A badge is a trust signal based on what we reviewed; keep using your own judgement.
First-post review
Every employer’s first job post is checked by our team before it goes live — a simple but effective barrier against scams.
Reporting
Every job has a report button. Tell us if something looks fake, asks for money, is misleading, or feels unsafe. Reports go straight to our review queue and we can take a post down quickly.
Protecting your data
- Your CV is private and shared with an employer only when you apply.
- Employers see your professional headline and verification, not your legal name, until you choose to share more.
- Verification documents are stored privately and accessed only for review.
Staying safe
- Never pay for a job or share financial details to “secure” one.
- Be cautious of offers that seem too good to be true or pressure you to act fast.
- Meet and interview through professional channels.
